I'm Engaged!!!
EEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
E and I have been together for 4 years and we are now engaged! We celebrated Valentines Day a little early and went out on Friday night, February 11th. We found this dinner cruise that looked interesting and thought we'd try it out. It wasn't what we were expecting. There was a buffet line, but you couldn't get seconds and the food wasn't anything to write home about.
We walked back to the car and E said he couldn't find his phone. I got out my phone to call his and locate it while thinking he better not have left his phone on the boat. The phone rang in his glove box, so I opened the glove box, grabbed the phone, and gave it to him. He asked me to open the glove box again. There in the shadows, because it wasn't lit up very well, I could see the outline of a box. Inside it was the ring I picked out several months earlier. :) He also wrote a note asking me to marry him next to the ring.
Who knew a blah dinner cruise could end so wonderfully!

55 gone, 10 left
I've been extremely busy lately and haven't had time to post. Sorry about that! But I wanted to share the good news I received last week. I've officially lost 55lbs total! Of those, 41lbs were lost while on Weight Watchers. Lately my non-scale victories (NSV) have been avoiding free food at work, buying my first pair of pants in a single digit, and buying medium sized shirts. As a teenager I jumped from the kids department to double digit clothing. So it's exciting to finally be able to shop in the same stores as my sisters and friends.
I'm excited to hit this milestone and hope that the last 10lbs will come off quickly. My 10 year high school reunion is in May and it would be great to show up being a WW member at goal. The last time I was this skinny was probably in junior high school.
Here are some pictures of me at my heaviest versus now:
I can tell a big difference in my energy and even how I carry myself. There are a few days when my mentality thinks I'm still at my heaviest, but those days are getting few and far between.
I hope to post more soon, but I'm bogged down with homework right now. :(
