50 books
This semester I took a class called Survey of Children's Literature. We were required to read 50 books and then create summaries on each of the books. There were 12 required books and the other 38 needed to fit into categories that the teacher assigned us. Unfortunately none of the books in my home library matched up with the qualifications. :( So that doesn't qualify for one of my 101 tasks to complete.
Luckily I live near a great public library and my university has a children's book section to it. I started reading the books over Christmas break and finished just in time to turn in my project. It was a lot of reading, but I was able to read a variety of children's and young adult books that I would have never known existed.
(Can you see how I haven't had much time to post?)
